The purpose of this job is to bridge gaps between business functions and technology teams by analyzing project and product requests (e.g., custom software development, third party product implementations), defining the business need or problem, understanding causality, and assisting in devising a solution in collaboration with Business Owners, Project Managers, Technology Solutions Owners and Architects, and Product Owners throughout the E.V. program/project and/or product lifecycle.
Essential Functions
1. Facilitate discovery and scoping meetings to elicit and document detailed requirements (e.g., user stories and acceptance criteria)
2. Bring clarity to requests, decision needs, and risks, often with large cross-functional teams
3. Assist business and technology teams with producing and presenting specific project documentation for governance review
4. Create detailed documentation needed for project management and/or for ongoing product/application support needs (e.g. current/future state diagrams, business processes, technology workflow diagrams, support readiness documentation, presentations, etc.)
5. Collaborate with stakeholders to identify and track risks for projects and determine how to mitigate them
6. Work with Product Owners/Managers to organize and prioritize the backlog of requests
7. Participate in Scrum ceremonies and serve as Scrum Master when applicable
8. Assist Project Managers with compiling project updates to present to senior leadership and perform some project management responsibilities as needed
9. Support teams including the quality assurance team and product users or subject matter experts (SMEs) during testing and validation
10. Communicate with leadership and stakeholders as needed to help direct and manage business expectations throughout project /product lifecycles
11. Work with vendor and third party teams to maintain requirement integrity and ensure Pilot retains all relevant knowledge
12. Participate in and contribute to the maturity of the Business Analyst practice by fulfilling requests of PMO leadership
